MAYA Films proudly celebrates the grand 75th screening of their acclaimed documentary, “The Saga of a Braveheart,” at the illustrious Jaganmohan Palace Auditorium in Mysore, in the regal presence of Maharani Pramoda Devi, who took special interest and initiative to organise this special screening. This milestone marks a testament to MAYA Films’ dedication and passion for storytelling. The documentary, portraying bravery, patriotism, and resilience, continues to inspire audiences. MAYA Films extends heartfelt gratitude to the Indian Army for their invaluable support in bringing this powerful narrative to life. Over 100 NCC cadets and their teachers also watched this documentary.

Promo Launch of “Saga of a Braveheart” Documentary

MAYA Films proudly unveiled the promotional campaign for our documentary “Saga of a Braveheart” on December 31st, 2021. The launch was graced by Shri. Rajeev Chandrasekhar, Hon. Minister of State for Electronics & Information Technology, Skill Development, and Entrepreneurship. Joined by esteemed Guests of Honour including Mrs. Meghna Girish, Founder Trustee of Major Akshay Girish Memorial Trust, Princess Kamakshi Devi Wadiyar, and Lt. Gen. PG Kamath PVSM, AVSM, YSM, SM (Retd), the event marked the beginning of our journey to honor the courageous sacrifice of Lt Col Ajit Bhandarkar, Shaurya Chakra, who laid down his life for the nation on October 30, 1999, while neutralizing terrorists in the region. This documentary, a heartfelt endeavor by Team MAYA, was filmed at the actual locations where Lt Col Bhandarkar served and was martyred.
